Broncoflex®
Single-Use Broncoflex®: Everything you need, nothing you don’t
Broncoflex® is a unique range of single-use bronchoscopes designed in France, combining intuitive technology and a flexible design to meet all bronchoscopy needs. It streamlines workflows and reduces costs while maintaining the feel of a reusable scope.
- Designed to feel familiar in expert hands
- Fits all therapeutic procedures, without compromising on suction or ventilation
- Single-use excellence: makes the work as seamless and effective as possible
Superior Suction
Broncoflex® 5.6/3.0 XFlo has the best suction among regular single-use bronchoscopes (SUFBs), proven in bench testing.4 Effortless secretion management, even in complex cases. The Broncoflex® range has consistently demonstrated best-in-class suction performance across all sizes.3, 4
SUFBs are increasingly used in Intensive Care for fast setup, reduced infection risk, and no reprocessing. Powerful suction is critical for airway inspection and secretion clearance.- Broncoflex® Agile (3.9/1.4 mm): Top-performing slim SUFB.
- Broncoflex® Vortex (5.6/2.8 mm): Superior suction in the regular-size SUFBs range3.
- Broncoflex® XFlo (5.6/3.0 mm): The most powerful suction in our range, with superior secretion clearance (x2.8 compared to leading competitor4) for optimal ventilation2.

Advanced Procedures Ready
Unique design
Two sizes, more options. Large working channels in regular outer diameters: Broncoflex® 5.6/2.8 Vortex and 5.6/3.0 XFlo offer the best balance for therapeutic and ICU procedures.
Research shows that with an 8.0mm endotracheal tube, a large bronchoscope can occupy over half of the tube’s diameter, leading to higher airway pressure, auto-PEEP, reduced tidal volumes, hypoxia, and hypercarbia.2 Broncoflex® 5.6/2.8 Vortex and Broncoflex® 5.6/3.0 XFlo address these challenges with a unique design that provides a wide working channel and a small external diameter, ensuring effective suction3 and smooth navigation and full compatibility with endotracheal tubes.
Effortless Tool Insertion
Smooth tool passage — even after bending — with Broncoflex® 5.6/3.0 XFlo’s optimized single-use bronchoscope design.
Broncoflex® single-use bronchoscopes combine a reusable-like feel with an easy-grip handle, scoring 82.1% for ergonomics and 83% for usability.3 With XFlo’s 3.0 mm working channel and advanced flexible tip, physicians can reach the targeted area first and insert tools smoothly without needing to reposition. XFlo maintains superior flexibility even with an instrument inserted, enabling fast and effective therapeutic procedures.

Screeni® Smart Imaging

Broncoflex® range includes

The Broncoflex® portfolio offers three references — Agile, Vortex, and XFlo — covering all flexible bronchoscopy therapeutic indications. In most cases, only two scopes are needed, where three are usually required with standard single-use bronchoscopes: Agile, and either XFlo for maximum suction and tool compatibility, or Vortex for versatile everyday use. This simplifies daily practice while ensuring full procedural coverage.

Easy BAL Clip™ is a single-use solution for bronchoalveolar lavage, designed to attach to the Broncoflex® and connect with various specimen container sizes. It offers unlimited sample size and quantity, allowing easy switching between containers. The single-operator setup enables a physician to handle the entire procedure alone. Its top handle design improves suction line management, keeping the container upright to prevent sample loss.
